Everything is based in movement, even the most abstract measurements. This piece, broken into three sections, uses dance to explore the history and philosophy of mathematics. Starting with the linear rigidity of Leonardo da Vinci's abacus, the dance transitions to a Giordano Bruno's universe of spirals and the breaking of man and God, resulting in Einstein's Theory of Relativity, a world governed by spacetime, matter, and gravity.
Every form of communication is subjective, whether it is logic, math, English, French, music, painting, or dance.  While each language has its own vocabulary and structure, together they all create a vast expanse of understanding.  Dance is the exploration of movement within the realms of space and time.  Philosophy is the exploration of ideas and the world around us.  Mathematics is the building blocks of structure, logic, and measurement. This piece intertwines the three in an exploration from the most basic of life past any reality that one can know.
